Mobile apps progress: Opus development update 7
We are making amazing progress with the development, including the mobile apps for iOS and Android. Opus has also recently welcomed Bernardo on board! Read more about this talented musician below.
Over the last two weeks, we have completed the main screens for the Opus mobile and web apps, and added the option to log into the platform with Google, using Firebase Authentication. Regarding the mobile apps, users can now play specific tracks. Furthermore, we have added Nginx as the SSL proxy layer for the API and the web player.
Using a Light Wallet, users can now set up their Ethereum wallets on the platform securely and safely complete transactions, as the private key never leaves the user’s own computer. The issue of payments using Ethereum is now complete, and our research into Bitcoin payments still continues.
During the next two weeks, we are planning to focus more on the web and mobile players, specifically the navigation, allowing music to be played in the background, and begin working on album views.
Bernardo
Bernardo is a British/Portuguese singer-songwriter who has been turning heads in various corners of the world.
Her soulful voice has a Fado weep mixed with Bossa-Nova simplicity, and her poised lyrics about people and relationships in the 21st Century can slide in and out of jazz standard-esque vibes in an instant.
She has just released a live album called ‘Live at Sarah’s’ that follows on from her debut EP ‘Tender’ which not only caught the attention of Jools Holland, but lead to an invitation to support Jools on his ‘Summer 2016’ and ‘Winter 2016’ tours.
Bernardo has also caught the attention of Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music) and recorded two tracks for his ‘The Sound of Blue’ album. The songs ‘Caracas 1960" and the remake of ‘No Church In the Wild’ count with Bernardo’s input.
She continues to spread her music by touring in the UK, South America and most recently Japan.
You can learn more about Bernardo on her website, Facebook, Instagram, Soundcloud, and YouTube.
