OPUS Brand New Design Revealed!
OPUS has been undergoing a redesign giving a breath of fresh air to our already modern interface.
From the very first day of revealing the long-awaited OPUS platform to our community and the music industry as a whole, we have been continuously working to improve our product. We have constantly been encouraging users to provide us with feedback, reflections, and their suggestions for future functions or changes. Our team has received an overwhelming amount of feedback, which showed us both the positive aspects of the project and the parts that could still use some improvements. We appreciate all the feedback immensely, both the positive and the negative, which has helped us develop the OPUS Player into what it is today and what it will be in the future.
The majority of the feedback has been from a technical standpoint, but lots of it also regarded the look of the platform and its general design. We have been carefully considering how best to implement the suggestions from our community and, after several months of hard work from everyone involved, we are proud to announce that the redesign is complete and would like to reveal it here.
The redesign concerns both the web and the mobile apps, both of which will receive a full overhaul. The web player will have a similar feel and look to our mobile apps, which will also undergo a redesign. This will make for a less jarring switch for users who frequently jump between the web and mobile apps.
We expect the overhauled mobile app to be fully released in around 2 months, and the newly designed web app not long after, in around 2.5–3 months.
The redesign should not impact the speed of development of the remainder of the platform and will, therefore, not delay the Ethereum main network release.
The development continues…
Meanwhile, as our graphic designers worked hard to deliver this redesign, our developers continue working on the OPUS platform.. There will be more updates in the coming weeks letting you know what has been done and what still needs doing.
Lots of credit can be given to our amazing community for your continued support and help in locating errors in our platform. Our entire team at OPUS would be highly appreciative if you could continue assisting us with this by submitting anything you find on Freshdesk:
