Queue and Playlist fixes: OPUS Development Update

OPUS has seen lots of progress of the last few weeks and we’re all very excited for the launch on the Ethereum main network in a short while!

There has been a lot of general work on the platform, and the most important and visible changes include:

• Admin panel — a lot of time has been dedicated to the admin panel, allowing for easier management of the OPUS platform.
• Error messages — a commonly reported bug was a repetition or complete lack of error messages when users attempted to do actions that were incorrect (e.g. false passwords). This has now been fixed, so all the error messages work correctly now.
• Adding to the library — another frequent issue among users. In some instances, users could not add songs to their libraries, whereas at other times, the little star appears next to songs that were never added to the library. This now works they way it should.
• Playlist organization — it is now possible to search for specific songs within a playlist, which is particularly useful in long playlists with a few hundred songs. This is not a new feature, but it has come to our attention that it did not work very well previously.
• Queue — some songs in the queue did not display all the information (track name, artist, length). This has also been fixed now.
• Popular songs menu — we added a menu to songs under the Popular section, something that was previously unavailable.
• Various UX fixes and improvements to make for a seamless experience.

In addition, we are currently in the process of working on fully fixing music playing, as well as some smaller bugs such as password resets or removing songs from playlists and queues.

Essentially, the platform is very close to being fully finished, with only some small fixes left to work on. The only major feature that still needs to be completed is the payment process for subscriptions.
