Productive networking weekend at OPUS
At OPUS, we always try to expand our network and meet as many people as possible who are involved both in the music and the blockchain industries, as well representatives of other startups. As such, members of our team spent this last weekend attending various events in Warsaw and spreading the word about our platform.
Luckily, the fickle Polish weather was generous to us and gave Warsaw plenty of sunshine with hot temperatures on Friday and Saturday, which we definitely took advantage of.
The first event we went to was in the form of a debate about blockchain technology and its future place in our society, hosted by the Mindspace coworking office in Warsaw’s city center. This was followed by networking over cookies, coffee, and pizza. Many business cards were exchanged and we will be following up on the discussions we had with members of the Polish blockchain community. This also gives us the potential to partner up with some interesting projects in Warsaw that could help us in the development of our own platform. The debate itself was also incredibly insightful and we learned about various new possibilities of the implementation of the technology that OPUS so heavily relies on.
Next up, we got the best of the beautiful summers in Warsaw and attended a garden barbecue networking event that celebrated the eighth birthday of Reaktor Warsaw — one of the city’s prime startup hubs, coworking spaces, and accelerator programs. Once more, many new contacts were made, and we talked a lot about OPUS and what we do to promote the project in Poland.
These networking events are always very useful in developing a project (and also very fun), so we will continue to come to more of these, both bigger and smaller.
Let us know in which cities you would like the OPUS team to make an appearance!
