Queueing and Offline Mode: OPUS Development Update

There have been many exciting new additions and fixes to the OPUS platform, read more about them below!

The newest version of OPUS for Android has been sent off to the Play Store and should be available to download. In our latest sprint, we have made progress with some very significant features of the platform:

• Offline Mode — users now have the option to download the tracks they have saved in their OPUS Library to their own devices and listen to them whenever they desire, without the need for an internet connection. This feature is available for all Android devices, with Offline Mode for iOS and Web coming soon as well.
• Music progression bar — this is a feature that has already been added to the Web platform, but has now also been updated on Android. The music progression bar was created randomly before the update; now, it is generated so that the bars fit the beat and the tone of a given song.

• Queueing — this is a feature that has already been available previously, though it has now been significantly improved. Now, a certain list is queued automatically when one of the songs is played; that is, when a user plays one song of an album, for example, then the remainder of the album will automatically be queued after this song and will play next, with the order depending on whether or not shuffle mode is on.
• More cosmetic fixes — we have also been working on fixing more cosmetic issues and bugs.
