The development of the OPUS beta player is in the final stretch and with the release date this close, we are making great strides towards completing and perfecting the platform.

Both our mobile apps are nearly finished. For iOS, the past two weeks have seen more screens being developed. The app now has playlist, album, and artist pages, the navigation buttons are fully functional now, and we have been adding some finishing touches to the existing screens.

The Android app is looking great, too. We have worked on the playlist screen and on the list of currently played tracks.

On our web player, the user profiles and finance tabs have been completed. We have also been extensively testing the existing features to find any bugs or errors and eliminate them. We are pleased to say that the OPUS web player almost done and working very well. We are very excited to launch it in May and show everyone what we have been working on over these past several months.

There has been more progress with our API, which has been updated, as well as great work with the whitepaper, which is almost ready now. The updated whitepaper will be very comprehensive, clearly explaining how our platform works.

Our plans for the next two weeks include integrating the API to our iOS app. We will also continue working on all our mobile apps to finish the settings menu on both iOS and Android, test the entire app, and fix any issues we might find. On our web player, we will keep developing the finance tab, and the remainder of the fan and artist panels. Finally, we will update the API with various blockchain transaction functions, construct the rest of the endpoints for the players, and keep writing the whitepaper.

The Mantle

The Mantle is a three-piece progressive metal band with one album out, and will start playing more shows starting in 2018 in the New York area.

The Mantle blends the vibrancy and technicality of Animals As Leaders with the expressibility of Plini and the organizational mastery of Dream Theater. Heavy polyrhythmic grooves are tied together with ornamented riffs and meticulous percussion. Far more than shred for shred’s sake, The Mantle generates its own musical power, without lyrics.

Check out The Mantle on Facebook and Bandcamp.
