The next sprint: OPUS Development Update

As always, we encourage our community to test our beta, available for web here, for iOS here, and Android here; and to let us know of any bugs using our bug reporting tool, available here.

Our latest sprint went on from July 23 to August 13. In our previous update, 14 issues were outlined for this sprint, though this increased to 23 issues as we discovered more bugs. All of these have been completed successfully and we have moved on to the next sprint now, which will run from August 13 to August 27, the date of our next development update.

In our next sprint, there are a total of 12 issues to fix. We have already begun working on 9 of those, with 3 still fully open. These issues will be discussed in more depth in our next update.

Next Monday, we will publish questions from our latest AMA hosted on Telegram last week. As per some requests from our community, this update will be somewhat more technical than usual and will contain a list of all the fixes made over the last sprint.

List of bugs

The 23 issues we fixed over the last sprint were:

• Add ‘crop image’ function to the artist page.
• Skip cropping when an image is square.
• Reordering songs when uploading an album.
• Change the white OPUS logo on the main login page.
• Changes in the API.
• Add songs to playlists.
• Wallet text in the tip is the same as the background.
• Auto sass compiler.
• Birthday popup sometimes changes window position.
• Search function improvements.
• Hide the dot when there is only one page on a horizontal list.
• Expand clickable area buttons on profiles.
• Popups with tips or error messages shouldn’t disappear after a fixed amount of time.
• Image should not be required to create a playlist.
• Adding tracks to library from Explore.
• Horizontal list — item options.
• Date of birth not sent to backend when updating profile.
• Loading status covers entire view.
• Add possibility to reorder queue manually.
• Layout of the horizontal list.
• Crop images before uploading them to the backend.
• Confirmation email for artists sends incorrect message.

While these issues have been fixed, many of them still need to be thoroughly tested.
