The Central European Startup Awards, or CESAwards for short, launched in 2014, are part of the Global Startup Awards series. The awards now span 10 countries: Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, and Croatia.

The aim of the competition is to inspire entrepreneurship around Europe and the world, and to bring together likeminded people from different countries. In 2016, CESAwards saw over 800 nominations, twice that amount in 2017, and now 3,700 this year. Seeing OPUS as a finalist in this competition is an incredible honor, and a proud achievement for our entire team and our entire community.
